We are looking for motivated shuttering carpenters and carpenter assistants for long term projects in Vancouver, Canada. Our client is a well knowns Canadian construction company who are working on different large construction sites all over Canada. You will be working with a team of professional workers such as yourself.

Job description:

A Shuttering carpenter is responsible for installing and repairing temporary frameworks that support the buildings. Shuttering carpenter uses casts to form concrete slabs, support beans and walls during construction.

The scope of work:

• Measuring, cutting and shaping wood or metal
• Producing concrete blocks of exactly the right size and shape
• Dismantling casts without causing damage to them so they can be reused
• Creating forms for bridges, foundations, beams and staircases
• Reading technical drawings and working according to that

What we offer:

• Salary from 600€ up to 1200€ /week (This is a NETT salary based on 55 hours working week)
• Your exact salary depends on your previous working experiences
• Accommodation is paid and provided by employer in single rooms with Wi-Fi connection
• Transport to project and accommodation is paid and provided by employer
• Flight tickets to Canada are paid and provided by your employer
• All tools and workwear are provided to all employees
• Help with all registrations – including VISA
• Long term employment in a stable company on Canadian contract

Work permit / VISA:

• Once your application will be approved by employer, the process of your VISA can start. VISA will be organized and paid by employer. The period to get your VISA is approximately 4-6 weeks. This VISA only applies for this one specific employer/job, and it will be valid for 2 years.
• The last stage of getting your VISA are fingerprints. Once the VISA are approved, you will go to certain place, where you need to complete your profile by fingerprints. Employer will book you an appointment and pay and organize you tickets for traveling.
