Farm Worker – Mushroom Farm, Saxtorp, Sweden

We are looking for experienced Farm Workers to join a well-established mushroom farm near Saxtorp, Scania. This is a seasonal opportunity with potential long-term engagement, working in a professional team in a controlled farm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Picking mushrooms and handling after-harvest work including weighing and packing
✅ Washing crop rooms with high-pressure cleaning
✅ Driving forklift and handling compost blocks (24 kg x 200 pieces every two weeks)
✅ Performing general farm tasks compatible with mushroom cultivation
✅ Working independently and efficiently while following safety instructions
✅ Cooperating effectively with other farm staff

Requirements:

✅ Previous experience with farm work, preferably mushroom farms or similar
✅ Communicative English
✅ Good physical condition and positive attitude
✅ Hand dexterity for precise work (mushroom picking)
✅ Driver’s license B (optional)
✅ Forklift experience (optional)
✅ Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
✅ Full valid passport required (national ID only not accepted)
✅ Available to work over Christmas and New Year

What We Offer:

✅ Gross Hourly Salary: €14 (pre-taxes, dependent on experience and performance)
✅ Swedish Self-Employment Option: SEK 135–150/hour (long-term engagement, dependent on experience)
✅ Working Hours: Minimum 47 hours per week, one free day
✅ Paid 14-day probationary period at the same rate
✅ Paid travel to and from country of origin for the test period
✅ Work clothing provided (trousers, jacket, boots)
✅ Bedclothes and pillows provided
✅ Possible long-term engagement with return opportunity the following year
