Mechanical Fitter – Yacht Construction – The Netherlands

We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Fitter for high-end yacht construction projects in the Netherlands. This is a long-term opportunity for a precise and skilled mechanic who has experience working on yachts and is ready to contribute to premium marine builds in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Installing decks and floors on luxury yachts
✅ Assembling and installing steering systems
✅ Installing standing and running rigging
✅ Working on piping systems, hosing, and drainage
✅ Installing pumps, air ducts, and HVAC systems
✅ Performing precise mechanical installations according to technical drawings
✅ Ensuring high-quality finishing and professional standards
✅ Following safety procedures and site regulations

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical work
✅ Proven experience in yacht construction (required)
✅ Background in automotive, truck, ship, or marine mechanics – strong advantage
✅ Ability to work accurately and with high precision
✅ Communicative English level B1/B2
✅ Driving license B required
✅ VCA-B certificate (optional – can be arranged by us)
✅ Strong attention to detail and quality standards

What We Offer:

✅ Gross Hourly Salary: €16.50 – €17.50
✅ Approx. Weekly Net Salary: €550 – €650 (based on 38 hours/week)
✅ Working hours: 38 hours per week
✅ Overtime paid extra
✅ Weekly payment (every Thursday)
✅ Long-term employment (at least until July 2026, starting ASAP)
✅ Temporary Dutch contract (Fase 1/2)
✅ Health insurance arranged by employer
✅ Accommodation: Apartment with private room in Rotterdam
✅ Transport: Company car available (own car also possible)
✅ Commute distance: approx. 30 km
✅ Personal protective equipment provided (safety shoes & helmet)
