Truck mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

✅Diagnostics, under the supervision of the workshop manager.
✅Repairs and maintenance work on trucks.
✅Basic knowledge of reading and understanding electrical diagrams.
✅Reading trucks with relevant manufacturer’s computers
✅Recording all work and materials carried out
✅Maintaining a tidy work area, after work has been carried out.

What We Offer:

✅Remuneration adapted to your experience and knowledge. From EUR 17 gross according to experience, up to EUR 23 possible!
✅39-hour working week, which includes 6 additional days of ADV leave
✅Overtime possible at 150% = working up to 50-60 hours per week in total (also occasional Saturday mornings)

✅2 shifts: 8-16h, 10-18h
✅Possibility to go down to your country every 5/6 weeks for a week!
✅Accommodation provided: €85 for a single room, €55 for a double room (water, gas, electricity and unlimited internet included)
✅Mileage allowance, usually a few euros per day.
✅End-of-year bonus of 8.33% of gross annual salary
✅Holiday bonus of 15.38% of gross annual salary
✅Full assistance from a coordinator throughout the contract.
✅Reimbursement of initial costs related to arrival in Belgium, maximum amount of EUR 125, paid after 4 weeks of work

Requirements:

✅Good and clear communication skills.
✅Thinking ‘outside the box’ to get the correct diagnosis.
✅Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
✅Communicative knowledge of the English language
✅Minimum of several years’ experience as a truck mechanic
✅Ability to work in a team
✅Willingness to work overtime if required
