We have great opportunity for those, who would like to gain some experience within MAG welding and metal sheet work from abroad.
For our client in Norway, we are looking for experienced MAG welders and Metal sheet workers.
Please, be aware you will need to attend the site test which is expected to take place either in the last week of May or the first week of June (confirmation of the date will be forthcoming) in Poland – Sosnowiec. After you successfully completed the test, your start in Norway will be planned within 1 week.
During this test, you will be tested on following:
MAG Welder
- The welding machine shall be connected with type of current as described in the WPS.
- The test shall be welded according to the WPS for the joint. Min. 1 stop and restart on each cap run.
- Side A) (PB): Welding and arc air gouging on the opposite side shall be performed down on the floor.
- Side B) (PF): shall be welded on the floor level. Balanced welding with max. 5° distortion of angle of the T-joint.
- Thereafter weld the endplate (fillet weld). The endplate shall have a size min. 20 mm greater than the T-joint
Metal Sheet Worker
- Cut the plates and prepare the groove. (ox/ac)
- Connect the plates and tack weld according WPS for tacking.
- Use of grinding machine is not permitted.
- All the measurements have +/- 2 mm tolerance
- Welding symbol, through thickness. Maybe other relevant info shall be marked close to groove.
Conditions:
- 262 NOK per hour/gross on the project
- Accommodation provided for free (single room with private bathroom)
- Food allowance
- Rotation 2/3
- Salary paid after rotation (after 2 worked weeks)
- Reimbursement for flighting tickets on each rotation – 3250 NOK
- Transport from the airport to accommodation organized by company
- Possibility to use public transport to workplace (it´s very short distance)
Regarding the requirements that we need from candidate:
MAG Welder:
- Valid 136/138 certificate
- Experience in gouging
- Experience with stainless and carbon steel
- English A2/B1
Metal Sheet Worker
- Familiarity with isometric (ISO) drawings
- Torch cutting skills
- English A2/B1
Candidates, who have experiences within industrial field have advantage.
