Cook/Chef

All over The Netherlands we have available positions for:

Sous chef

– Remains second-in-command in the kitchen. Depending on the restaurant and it’s management, it is possible to have more than one sous chef.
– The sous chef’s role may overlap with the head chef, however the sous chef generally remains hands-on.
– The sous chef is in charge of the kitchen and oversees the day-to-day activities.

Chef de partie (1st degree cook)

-Cooking according to instructions and recipes
-Cleaning the working environment and kitchen and preparation of dishes
-Assist with receiving and storing delivered items

Junior chef (2nd degree cook)

-Performing preparatory work such as washing, cutting, cooking, mixing
-Preparation of dishes, checking them before presentation and passing ready meals

What we offer

– Salary between 370€ – 460€ net/38 hours/week (depends on job position)
– Weekly salaries (the candidates can ask for monthly salaries as well)
– Working week: minimum 38 hours and maximum 60 hours
– Accommodation is arranged by client
– Sharing tips between team members
– Health insurance provided by client
– Driving license category B (option to rent car or bicycle)
– Transport from airport to accommodation is provided by client

Requirements

– Good communication skills in English, German or Dutch at level B1
– At least 6 months of experience in hospitality field
– Reference
– Flexibility and good health status
– Responsibility
– Willing to work abroad for longer time

COVID-19 information

Due to the pandemic situation in Europe and the rest of the world we would like to inform you about the following:
